Polish Apple Cake.  It's pretty good, a bit more like a pie than a cake. It's the first recipe I tried from Anna Hurning's new cookbook, Polish Your Kitchen. Anna is a big presence on YouTube, sometimes offering recipes, sometimes mini-tours of Poland. I called The Neighbor to share some apple cake, only to find that it would have to be a trade: she had just made chocolate zucchini cake in honor of a bumper crop of vegetables. Good deal all around!
