Results Day

So A levels....

After no GCSEs, covid, lockdowns, interrupted teaching, 2 hip operations, Lucy got the results today for her first ever set of sat exams.

She's worked so hard, that if she can do that in the future and whatever that holds, this last few years will always be the most challenging period of her life.

She passed, she didn't quite get to where she wanted but has got on the same course, in the same city, just at the other place. Newcastle awaits with good friends from home and a world of opportunity.

She's already got a job at St James's Park to help her along, and that starts on Sunday!

Here she is with brother Joe who is part way through his studies, home from Leeds, for a family lunch out.
