Sofa so good

So, today I returned to my Harvard course on Masterpieces of World Literature. I got to the end of the first session, which covered the Epic of Gilgamesh. I visited the British Museum to see the cuneiform clay tables that include a version of the great flood - but I needed to pop over to The Louvre to get this picture of Gilgamesh (from the Palace of Sargon II).

A busy day of travel, sitting on my sofa.
