Manuscript

The final day of summer school today and Ellie and I were glad to be done. It’s been a frustrating week and we weren’t exactly sad to see the end of it.

I rewarded myself with a break from the office this afternoon for a quick coffee and catch up with Eva, who I haven’t seen for weeks and haven’t been able to run with since she shredded her knee up the Mynd. It was nice to catch up and I feel very privileged to have been given a copy of the manuscript of her book, newly translated into English, to read and form a little editorial group. I’m super chuffed to be able to finally read some of her work, which I so far haven’t been able to do what with not being able to speak Hungarian.

A lazy evening of trying not to nap.
