Tree therapy...

What with the recent heat and lack of rain, it was looking rather autumnal in the park, with fallen leaves everywhere. While care was in place, whizzed to the high street this morning to pick up some essentials for Patient No2 (flowers and Mars Bars!), returning via the park for some tree therapy.

A busy but slightly calmer day, though an unexpected visit from the District Nurse and phone call (changing care providers and reducing hours) threw a spanner in the works. This afternoon a family friend and his daughter came round for clotted cream scones in the garden with the patients, while I took a phone call from the wonderful hospice nurse who managed to pull a few strings, allowing us to keep our current team of lovely carers. Phew!

Thank you so much for all your kindness. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, blippers are the best.
