Grand Day out

What a special day.
I was collected at 0930 hrs and taken on a Mystery Day out. 
Huge fun. We went first to South Molton, a very pretty village with a wonderful old Pannier Market where small, unique stalls of crafts, home grown vegetables, free range eggs, home made cakes/ chutney/jam jostle alongside  old implements, flowers and many other items of interest.  
We enjoyed coffee and cake, sitting watching the world go by, chatting with those we knew and those we did not!
Then we drove to the Valley of the Rocks where after a short stroll we had a scrumptious picnic. The weather was perfect - until about 3.30 when the mizzle rolled in. A fine spray that would have eventually drenched us if we had continued to sit...so we packed up and came away.
