Lore’s Cherries

The cherry tomato bush that we planted in S’s mum’s window box has gone bananas with cherries. The other yellow beef-tomato bush was hacked back after it threatened to take over the block. It still produced fruit that could have killed an unwary zimmer owner if dislodged from its third floor site though, so the largest were snipped off today to ripen in a less dangerous location.
We’d been taking her grocery shopping (S’s mum, not the tomato) so she could browse at her leisure. Turned into a 2 hour browse but that was just fine, she had a great time.
Have to mention the Jambos, playing in a European competition for the first time in many a year. They lost 2:1 but there’s plenty of room to improve in the return leg next week.
