Tiddley Pom Pom

This view is from Henley on Thames looking over to the Leander Club. Just over 35 years ago my bother and his wife had their wedding reception there.  It was a lovely day.

Today we drove down to join them ahead of a family event (on my wife's side) on Monday.  It has been several years since we've been to their house:  they tended to come north so it has been great to see the changes to the house and garden.

After a 400 mile drive with three adult and 2 dogs it was lovely to sit in the garden and watch a red kite soar overhead in temperatures of 24 oC.  Sadly they have not had much rain.  As we drove south we passed through various showers and parts of the country looked green.  But not so much here yet!
