Yesterday's butterflies are more attractive than wasps but wasps are very good for helping to get rid of garden pests and as we passed this lion today I decided to blip the wasps.   Last month dozens of wasps started to build a nest on a wall but shortly afterwards they abandoned it and ten days ago we noticed wasps flying in and out of the mouth of a lion statue on gates nearby..  Today there didn’t seem to be so many perhaps because most of the worker wasps will have died now but there were still some flying into the mouth. In the garden wasps have been coming to drink from the birds’ water bowl and so far none have bothered us when we have been eating outside.
