A Comforting Thought

A lovely Spring day here today, so after a leisurely breakfast it was time to catch up with the newspapers

Now what is all this MP's expense stuff about? I'm beyond anger I'm moving into a growing sense of despondency .

When it reaches the point of hearing that a Member of Parliament,whom you have respected for years, was trying to buy an £8000.00 television, yes you read that correctly, on his expense account then it really goes beyond anger.

It's just such a disappointment.

Anyway after a 'good walk', we've spent the afternoon drinking cups of tea in the garden listing to Episode 1 of The Seige of Krishnapur great stuff. How good is the BBC iPlayer?

When all the world feels like it falling round our ears we'll still have Radio 4.

A comforting thought.
