Poor Cheddar

Cheddar had a big dental procedure today. 27 teeth were extracted due to severe periodontal disease, mobility, furcation exposure and greater than 50% bone loss around the roots and only have 4 teeth left. The doctor told me it was common for old dog like Cheddar, special for Yorkshire terrier. She also told me with certainty that Cheddar shall have better senior live after this procedure.
I do hope so!
