Busy Day

A lovely morning for my row….. and Peter and Tatum got out in kayaks…and enjoyed the seals…. Today’s work party was to clean up the huge pile of leftover rounds on the “road” in front.  From the bad storm in 2018…. All the usable ones ( they are certainly dry!) have been split, the others spread out along the side.   Then Boppa took the girls in the tin boat for an ice cream run and the motor died on way back so he had to row to our community dock…. A lot of work.    Will deal with that tomorrow.   Girls went swimming off the dock ( they said it was colder) while H and I sat at the neighbors for a quiet glass of wine and then….my favorite thing!   We went “out to dinner” at the tall house porch , dubbed “Maple’s Kitchen” for this occasion.    Had toyed with the idea of going to the marina restaurant but too crowded and too hot….this was perfect!    Couldn't decide on a photo at this hour so you get a collage.   Grateful for so much help.
