And still it rains

We were fortunate birthday guests of a dear friend and neighbour we went for lunch at one of our favourite venues such a pleasant way to spend an afternoon.

The Blip was taken on the drive to the restaurant and is an indication of many roads in the region and this link is a News link and shows not just this region but all of New Zealand.

And still it rains my gauge is closing in on 200mm over three days which does not represent what's happening in the Ranges behind our house. With the amount of rain that has fallen during this winter it has left the ground saturated so the recent falls has nowhere to go.

I think this the longest since moving here that I have not seen the sky!
