An attempt at Minimalism

This week's Abstract Thursday theme, set by our regular host Ingeborg, is 'Minimalism'.  While I do admire the minimalist creations  of others, I do struggle to make them myself.  This week's effort is as minimalist as I was able to go.
I began with a shot of  a cluster of bubbles in a pyrex dish which was place on a sheet of plain but textured piece of card.  I then altered the colour by pushing up the saturation slider and giving a tint in PS Elements.  I then used the 'glass' filter followed by the 'extrude' filter and hope that result looks a bit like a rising or setting sun.  Not really minimalist in treatment, but the best I could do.
