Sarge

Today we have travelled by high speed train from Zurich to Munich then transferred to a second train from Munich to Salzburg I had a great thrill as our horse, Sargent Best, won overnight in New Zealand. I was able to watch the race online. The wonders of the internet!
So, obviously, the image that I have posted in a cartoon  is most appropriate  for the occasion.
Back to our holiday. We were so grateful to blipper  Snaefell1883 who came to our Zurich hotel this morning and then walked with us to the station and headed us to the correct platform. We are having the most wonderful European holiday. Not a sign of Covid or anxiety  about it. So great to be traveling again.
