Flower Friday...Aster

There have been quite a few bees in the garden this year busy collecting pollen, this one was enjoying it's time on the asters...thanks Bikerbear:)
Sun finally struggled through the clouds in a few short bursts late this afternoon...I'm back to wearing socks again....in August! Had fun at Bfriend,  won a box of Maltezers in the quizz on New Zealand...we made mini pavlovas, considered to be their national dish!.
And I have received a date for my initial consultation for cataract surgery, 13th September...very quick!
