Brown Argus

Happy World Photography Day fellow blippers!! Where would we be without our trusty cameras!?  

Building up slowly on the walking front so did the local woods today after posting some mail.  And it looked very Autumnal with leaves covering the paths.  All the streams had dried up too which might explain the lack of bird activity, but did lead me to explore a part I couldn't normally get to and now will explain why my legs are shouting at me for going off track!!

The wildflower meadow was still looking healthy and nice to get some snaps of this Brown Argus.

Lots of RAF planes heading to Southend airport this afternoon as they are basing themselves there for the Eastbourne airshow - have been hoping they'd arrive in or depart over our house but no luck so far - maybe tomorrow!!
