lit by the sun

My first beautiful acidanthera flower grown from a pack of summer flowering bulbs from Wilko, planted earlier this year. They’re in a tub outside the greenhouse and I thought how lovely this one looked with the sun shining in the glass at the back. Tidied up after Victor and Rosie this morning and just after lunch we had a surprise visit from Val, a lady we used to live next door to in the late 70s. She didn’t stay long as she was on her way to visit a friend but it was lovely to see her.
