ran the GMR 10k today. brilliant race, well organised and great atmosphere. 36,000 runners, many of whom were running for causes close to their hearts. gets a bit emotional in places.

rubbish race for me though. it hurt way more than it should have done. my couisn-in-law, suzy, dropped out this morning due to a cold so i ran with my cousin, antony (marathon runner!). he stayed with me and kept me going but it really shouldn't have been such a struggle. silly me for being fat and lazy in the run-up!

enough moaning....off to watch it on the tv with my medal round my neck.

time was 59.45 by the way!
