I put my big girl pants on today and went to a craft/woodwork class that my OT told me about. I have done a walking group with this organisation before so I knew the leader. It is part of their women supporting women group so all females. It was held in the community garden and it was a lot bigger than I thought it would be.
They run a lot of other groups from there; cooking class, bookbug and gardening. Over the next 6 wks there will be craft activities, today i painted a tile, and a  glass tea light holder. Also we we will be refurbishing a shed for the children in the area. Painting, fixing it up etc.
They even have lots of chickens in their little orchard.
We are given the chance to take some the produce home that they grow.

After lunch I bought a comic each for Lewis and Harris as I'm so proud of them this week. Harris in particular; he finished his old nursery Monday, did a settle in at an after nursery club on Tuesday and started school nursery on Wed. There was a wobble on Thurs morning but today he was ok. He happily told me what he had been doing and said it was better than his last nursery. Phew! Lewis went into P4 and I was told there are no toys now in class and he has his first desk, he's happy!
Got a few cuddles and stories and left them to go to their swimming lesson.

Came home totally overwhelmed by the day and dealt with it the only I seem to.  Disappointing and I don't know how to turn that around.
