Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

By Carol

2022 Thursday — Cayucos Pier

About 2:30 this afternoon, we put harnesses and leashes on the two pups and headed out to look at the shore to decide where to walk. The south beach was a bit foggy so we did a slow wander (drive) thru town and about halfway to the pier, the fog was gone. We realized the breeze was blowing the fog south and the cove at the pier was clear because of the wind. So that’s where we walked. It was a little chilly, so we pulled up our sweatshirt hoodies to stay warm. The pups love walking on the sand. The tide was just high enough that there were no tide pools to play in but Chloe and Mitzi didn’t do any complaining.

After our beach walk, we stopped at the deli to get us each a street taco (asada, onion, cilantro) for a little snack of protein. Then back to the house for Mr. Fun, Chloe, and Mitzi to take naps. I did a little reading.

We are slowly getting better, but we are both disappointed with how very long this is taking to feel well again. It was one week ago that we headed to ER at French Hospital.
