Electrifying

No not really. Did get a lot done but I wasn’t exactly sparking.

Met a Chinese couple in the street who have just escaped Hong Kong and have come to live in Woking   They like it here. 

Got my iPhone  cleaned and it now charges okay. Full of fluff.

Just finished Glory. Very hard work but an important book to finish. A tale of the nightmare that is Zimbabwe thinly veiled as the fictional realm of Jidada with an Animal Farm style cast of beasts many and varied (although the dogs get to be the secret police again). It took me a while to get it. Some ghastly stories along the (very long) road but the ending is a really upbeat crescendo describing the potential of the people to bring about change.  It’s actually a lesson that resonates globally  - or should. Recommended but you really need stamina for this one, particularly when it gets violent.
