Caitlin and Tanzy
During our morning walk I got a call from my eldest great granddaughter asking if she could come up as her mum was working from home and busy so I said we'll be home in 15 minutes. So her mum dropped her off at about 11 and picked her up at 4. she will be 16 on the 1st October. We had a lovely long chat, she told me all about joining the Sea Cadet's and what she will be studying at school in her last year, all about the stories she still writes etc she had lunch with us.
Tanzy loves her because when Tanzy was a puppy and Caitlin was around 9/10 they used to chase round the garden Caitlin would hide and Tanzy would go look for her. So she was in her element and then when Kirsty came to pick her up Tanzy went potty dog again, Caitlin went home with tomatoes and cucumber.
Then just after they went I got a text from my youngest son that he was calling with the girls, they had been out looking at camper vans, so cause for more excitement from Tanzy because I think she really has missed the girls who used to come 2 or 3 times a week before covid, and a change in circumstances. They came into the greenhouse and raided the little tomato plants and also got some bigger tomatoes, cucumber and lettuce for their tea when they got home. Along with other goodies they usually get.
It was so nice to see them and like old times in the greenhouse together. They have grown up so quickly with not seeing much of them over the last two and a half years.
They went at 6.30 so it was a very full day of visitors but an enjoyable one.
