The office

Another baby this morning. I realised today that I've already done as many newborn shoots this year as I did in all of 2012, which surprised me a lot because I quite vividly remember sitting in a bar in London in January saying that I was going to stop photographing newborns! It's hard to turn down work though, and I now find myself with due dates booked in as far away as October. Maybe next year I'll give them up...

Today's shoot was actually great - a lovely long drive in the countryside to get there, a big house with lots of natural light, laid-back parents who were happy to leave me to do my own thing, and a sleepy baby who didn't cry.

Here's a look behind the scenes at my setup: a beanbag, a backdrop stand, blankets layered in the order I plan to use them (4 today, I was overly optimistic!), and my camera bag with some lenses and a spare camera. Oh, and a baby :)
