Thornliebank Library

Photo from a lunchtime wander today through Thornliebank.

The library is the Crum Memorial Library (now just Thornliebank Library), named after Alexander Crum who invested funds from the printing works in the village to build a social club and Church. He then became the MP for Renfrewshire from 1880 for five years.

The library opened in 1897.
