Something Missing ?
11.6C and bright with winds around 25mph gusting to gale force (40mph).
I hear on Radio Scotland that there were dust storms around Forfar this morning caused by high winds, but thankfully no sign of that round here today.
Maeve the Deerhound and I went out for our walk after lunch. It did feel quite windy as we walked down the field with the bridle path. The gusts were quite noticeable when we emerged from the shelter of the hawthorn hedge about half way down the field.
Down on the beach there were five dog walkers, and three dogs. Two couples, each with one dog and man with a little fluffy dog.
The tide was well out so Maeve and I wandered about down on the hard sand in the channel where the boats go in and out. I tried a few shots round the boats, but the sun kept disappearing behind clouds so we walked on up to the car park. Just along from the car park where there are a few small boats lying in a dip in the ground I noticed a boat, which has been upturned for a long time, sitting the right way up. We went along to have a look.
"How about a close up or two of that interesting number that looks like it could be AH078 with something missing, or perhaps it is just plain old A11078" was today's suggestion from Maeve the photographer's assistant :-)
Good idea I thought, even if her sentences are getting a bit long !
