Year Late

Other social media popped this one up in front of me, apparently from a year ago today, 20 August 22, and that is a blank date on my journal. Better late than never.
I was working at a quarry site down in Ayrshire. I recall it was one of my first lodging away overnight jobs after the movement restrictions had been lifted. I took this photo of a "bio-pace" chain ring from a bike that has probably seen better days. If you look closely the ring is elliptical and the science of the era (I'm guessing early nineties) was that it offered more comfortable and efficient leg effort. I'm sure I have read recently of possible re-introduction of the idea.
