Two Swans Short Of A Full Complement

Our friend headed back to London this morning and we headed out for a walk across to the peat ponds at Sharpham. It was pleasantly warm with none of the recent humidity so we extended our walk to Walton fishing lake and back by Sharpham Park Farm.

These swans were enjoying an outing too. Plenty of days until Christmas for them to find another two.

The heron in extras was posing on the footpath ahead of us, giving me another chance to try out the zoom.

We also saw what looked like a mink, or possibly an otter, crossing the road but that was too far away to home in on.
