Before this afternoon's match at New Dundas Park there was a minute's applause to mark the death in the week of a former member of the Bonnyrigg Rose committee. The game itself was disappointing. Without their most creative player due to injury, in the first half Rose lacked confidence, and were lucky only to concede a scrappy own goal against a side that has lost all its first three games. Although Rose were better in the second half, an error at the back allowed Albion Rovers to score a second. 

Afterwards I repeated my run of three weeks ago. Although I eventually got too hot, I managed 7km in 37 minutes, with two sub five minute kilometres. Maybe it will be cool enough next Saturday to allow me to run all the way home!
