Tattershall

Sis and I had our summer holiday early in July so we’ve tried to do a few days out in the weekends. So far we’d visited Doddington Hall and Brodsworth Hall, both of which are under an hour away. Today we ventured a bit further, well not actually further but a longer journey! To Tattershall Castle in mid/south Lincolnshire. The sky looked quite stormy when we got there although it brightened up significantly.

The last time I visited Tattershall was when I was teacher training in Lincoln, so maybe 1986/7!!! The stairs up to the top weren’t any easier than I remember!!!! But the view was awesome (see extras)

We stopped off for a late lunch and the dragonfly was taking a rest on the pebbles near by (also in extras)
