Poplar Plantation

Mrs Catspaw and I went for a late afternoon / early evening walk today: a circular walk from our home in Newick including a footpath between Fletching and the A272 at Piltdown that we'd never walked before, that took us along this wide 'allée' through a Poplar plantation (just to the west of Denniker Farm) which included this derelict garden shed.

The day had a feel of late summer, enhanced by the early autumn feel of many of the trees after this summer's heat and drought.
