Nane Nane

Today is Nane Nane (8/8) Day, a public holiday. I was due to be on the road for a work event but it was cancelled yesterday evening. Therefore, hurrah, a surprise day of rest and I took the opportunity to largely chill.

Coco Beach in Dar es Salaam is an eclectic and ragtag assortment of food shacks, peddlers, donkey rides and apparently stacks of tyres and clothes drying in the strong wind. I took a stroll along the beach soaking up the atmosphere.
