Village pond

A warm day, plenty of sunshine and some cloud. No rain.

I spoke to my friend this morning, had breakfast and did some gardening, mainly putting all the dead leaves etc in the bin.  I then walked round to see K, bought a cake on the way round which we shared with coffee.  Chatted and then did some gardening!  Walked home, had a late lunch, read for awhile and then K came here for a cup of tea and a walk. Before we went out I saw a notice across the road in front of some items, pots, garden tools, pictures all free!  We went over and I picked out many items that we will be able to sell at our stall at the Horticultural Show on Bank Holiday Monday, raising funds for garden club.  Tomorrow I will clean them up.
