Exmoor Bound

It was beautiful to see all the heather out on the slopes of Dunkery as we drove over to Porlock Weir for our holiday . We made sure Stan was set up with what he needed for a few days as he is house sitting for us until Monday when other relatives take over. 

It was as relaxing as ever to  arrive at the cottage with the constant lull of the sea . That is my most favourite thing here apart from the magnificent scenery . 

We had a stroll down to the Weir after unpacking and eating dinner.
