Quick before the Next Rain Comes in.
Firstly I would like to say a big thanks everyone who sent the Grey Heron to the spotlight yesterday.
This is the field next to our house and those wild cherry tree blossoms need pollinising or there won't be any cherries! The weather has been so grim for the last few days that there are no insects around to do the pollinating. I'm just hoping that the rain doesn't damage the blossom to such an extent that it falls from the trees before the bees have time to do their work. Nature is always a bit tricky.
This image is definitely better large. You can see the Dents du Morcles on the left and the Dents du Midi on the right. For the rest of the day we haven't seen either of these mountains and it's raining again!
