Beacon and brigs

This spot was the entrance to my dad's workplace in the final years up to his pension. The Shell petrol station is there still like the beacon it was and the buildings, the brigs are there too, but they no longer are offices for Shell employees. A little further on from this spot in Den Haag was the HQ for Shell Netherlands and that's emptied out now too, just a new small office building is in use now as Shell concentrated its HQ in London. 
New developments that would have startled my dad and actually touch me as such, being the daughter of a Shell man.
