I see this every day

As it’s on my chest of drawers next to my bed. But suddenly thought it looked lovely with the early sun on it.  I bought the white silk flowers long ago when I still lived in London - must be earlier than 1989! And I’ve added odds and ends from Christmas bouquets and so on over the years. I think the vase was from a charity shop, but it’s definitely not waterproof so has to have artificial flowers in.
Quite a nice day, I made a huge nut roast and froze 10 portions. Watched my son DJing on Twitch TV, listened to the cricket and the football - my team Arsenal won. And did a lot of jigsawing, which is a real pleasure
