The Sugar Boat..

a sunken wreck lying on the Firth of Clyde with the hills of Argyll behind and a naval minesweeper to the port side. The MV Captayannis sunk in 1974 after a stormy night while waiting to unload its cargo of raw African sugar for the Tate & Lyle refinery in Greenock.It was planned to blow it up, but as it posed no danger to shipping, it has been left to rust.
