Eyemouth

We took a belated birthday boat trip out along the coast from Eyemouth today, and had the perfect warm, calm and sunny conditions. No dolphins were seen but three seals were roaming about the harbour and we saw lots of divers, birds and gorgeous scenery too. Fantastic seaside fish and chips, plus ice cream, to follow.

It's a long way from Edinburgh but well worth the effort. A welcome escape from the city's grubby appearance as we're on day 4 of the bin men's strike!
