Pick Your Own

Our apple tree has produced a bonanza this year,  possibly the best we have ever had. 

Sadly a lot have been wasped,  some have been bird pecked,  and I suspect a mouse has been indulging himself as well. 

Many have dropped and are too bruised to use but I have decided to remove all the apples today so I don't have the mess drawn out over several more weeks.

Our elderly neighbour has had a good lot,  as she will freeze them and make preserves,  jams and pies. 

Nature's bounty,  cannot be equalled.

And there was mention in the Ingleman kitchen of apple crumble.... 

That will be worth waiting for..
