second blooms

Noticed all these rosebuds this morning. So many of them on this beautiful rose. Although they look red the roses are a gentle apricot colour when they’re open. We got a lovely walk in early this morning with Nelly and Ziggy. Picked a load of blackberries and some apple fallings from the garden and cooked them. Now frozen into pie-sized portions. And cut out a pair of summer trousers from some patterned velvet. Used a pattern from a company I’ve not used before so I hope they’re ok.
