Euphorbia Candelabra

I came across this windswept Candelabra on safari in the Rift Valley. Although the milky latex that pours out if you scrape the tree is highly poisonous I remember having one in my garden as a child. I don't think I will forget the day the gardener decided to prune it and I innocently stood underneath and watched the milk drip onto my skin. Sometimes you have to learn the hard way!

But I think I have always loved their characteristic shape.
