Sharing 'skills'

This is not for the picture but for the memory. My eldest (7) asked if we could make pudding together, inspired by the Bakewell Tart that his Aunty Caroline made yesterday. He decided what was going in the middle, made the pastry and decided that the jam needed to be in the middle of the sponge not under it. It must have tasted good as it is now 2/3s gone and only the children have had some!
Apparently the only improvement is that we need to make more sponge mix next time, and alas that was my fault as I decided to do on 2,2,2,1!
