Not quite blue

I guess this is one of 2022's chicks but not in its full plumage yet. There was a flock of 7 or 8 of them in the garden this morning. Good to see the wee birds again. I saw an almost adult robin on my walk.

A busy day ahead. My grandson is on his way for Monday childminding. I'd booked the farm but it is too wet. We'll go another day. Playing with him will take care of the time till he goes home about 6pm. Then I have an online meeting for the community council to look at cargo bike hire. The part of SW Edinburgh that I know well has recently started a scheme and some of us are going to learn more tonight.

I don't think I'll be able to do much blipping or commenting so I'll just wish you a good Monday.
