Ironwork

I love spotting such skills as this. This level of workmanship just wouldn’t be seen these days except very occasionally and to special order. This is an ordinary field gate probably made locally. I wonder how long it has been there.
I should add that the stone post was probably mined from a now disused quarry not 500 yards away.
