Front Green

The front green in Lochgilphead was revamped. It looks the bees knees but I can't help thinking our glorious leaders have missed a trick! What about putting some seating there and maybe some enterprising person could have a wee horse box selling fancy cakes and coffees, maybe the Square Peg shop would do it. That way it would look more like a plaza than a dead space! They also need more bins and the bins in the playpark could have been animal bins to encourage kids to use them. finally who decided to put gravel round the trees! it's already been dug out! All said and done, it looks good and also good to see they have given a wee nod to the Gaelic language in the map.

If you look at this date for my 2010 entry, the big guy standing behind me is actually the chap who was the Clerk of works for the development. Whod have thunk it! He's one of my son's classmates.
