Hover not Flying.....

A "buzzing" afternoon in the garden with plenty of wildlife as company!

We went for a walk late afternoon when it was quieter at Trentham Gardens. We watched one of the kingfisher's fishing on the open lake. That seemed unusual but it may have been due to the River Trent, which runs along side the estate, being so low. It may have been easier to fish in the deeper water of the lake?
