Really very big and scary (behind this padlocked gate!).

I was sent a survey report to look through and comment on. I’ve never seen a Level 3 RICS survey before and this one horrified me for the gross incompetence of the qualified surveyor. It tells the client nothing of real use, has no photos and remarks such as “the ceilings were inspected from within the rooms”. Where else would you inspect them - by looking through the windows? It’s no wonder that the profession had had a poor reputation. I was including phots in reports in the late 1990’s and was the first in Somerset to be doing so. My claim to fame - rant over!
