I noticed this for the first time today despite having cycled past it every day to and from work for a few weeks now. It's the bag-end of a rather chi-chi cul-de-sac development of detached houses, this one being apparently the largest and finest. I wonder if the owners are aware that their lawn is supported by this jerry-built retaining wall.
