Happy Birthday Mum!

75 years young today but just the 1 candle!  Dad had cut the cake before we got to sing happy birthday so had to make do with what was left!!  And this was the only photo I took all do so it has to do LOL!

But it's been a lovely day as my brother and his family came to visit and we'd not seen them since May.  So a trip to Southend was wished for, mum got a slap up lunch at her favourite restaurant in there and then we were dragged around the shops while George, my nephew, was searching for shoes (Clarke's to the rescue!) and a suit as he starts sixth form in September and they need to wear a suit everyday!  Who knew that finding a suit on the high street would be so difficult!! Not even M&S could help us out! The choice was very poor so we had to resort to online in the end as we'd exhausted every shop!  And Chloe wasn't much better in the hunt for a new school bag!! Maybe they're just extra picky haha! But we failed on that front!

But thankfully Chloe was by my side for a good rummage round Waterstones as she's a fellow bookworm!  and I may have treated us both to a new book or two!!

Home for tea and cake, and then Pizza for tea and lots of laughs catching up - they've not long left so we're exhausted haha!!
